THE NJL PROCESS
Timeline Information
Project timelines can vary significantly depending on the type, size, and scope of work involved. While we always aim to keep your project on schedule, several factors—like permitting, material lead times, weather, and client-driven changes—can affect the duration.
New Construction Homes
Typically range from 8 to 14 months from permit issuance to completion. Larger custom homes or more complex designs may take longer. Factors like lot prep, city reviews and extensive selections can impact the timeline.
Renovation Projects
Vary widely base on the scale of work. Small scale remodels can take a few months and large scale like whole home renovations or additions can take 6 to 12+ months. Renovations often request additional demo time and navigating existing structures, which can introduce unexpected delays.
Commercial Build-Outs
Timeline depends on lease agreements, scope and permitting. Light tenant finishes a few months and full interior build outs or major structural changes 6 - 12+ months. Municipality requirements and inspections can vary widely for commercial work, which may extend the schedule.
We’ll provide a tailored project timeline once we finalize your scope of work and construction documents.
